A button allowing traders to reserve some TWINS balance so as not to accidentally pay the higher trading fee
Sean Phillips
There are various possible ways to implement reserving an amount of TWINS in order to pay the cheaper rate of trading fee using TWINS.
Maybe it could be a tiny toggle button with a red light just above the right side of the [100%] button, that with the red light on the [100%] button will fill the Amount with 100% as it works now.
If you click the tiny button making it green, it could change the [100%] button to [98%], customisable in settings (to a particular amount of locked TWINS, or a chosen percentage), if desired.
A hover caption for the button could say "Save fees by reserving TWINS".

I thought of another modification to this idea that wouldn't require using any of the screen real estate for a small button.
The state of the 100% button could be remembered via a cookie and/or set in the user's profile/settings, but could also be changeable by holding the button down for three seconds. Then it would toggle between the reddish tinted 100% and the greenish tinted 98% (or other percentage chosen in settings.
This would retain all the normal functionality of the four buttons and allow for manually rounding the chosen amount as we can do know. It also won't cause any user confusion or harm the original purpose of the buttons so long as some kind of mouseover or alt image text can be included as I mentioned earlier, that will explain the colour tint on the button. (The colour tint could be not used if it is not wanted, or it could be made more subtle by applying it to the text only, and not the whole button.)

I would suggest lock up ballance for trading fees where you input any amount and then whenever you use 25% 50% 100% buttons that amount is not being spent
